Out boating this weekend and stepped across the ski pole cover and it snapped off.

Looking closer the whole ski pole bracket is bent and that is why the weld broke.

So I am without a cover and the bottom is bent.

Thought I found one on ebay but they had just sold it.

May havd to get sliderule to fabricate one...

Well good news and bad news.

Cobalt can still provide the mount...

bad news: it is a kit and I get the ski pole as well. and it is 867.99 pluss tax.

So guess I will be spending $700 more on the ski pole than I wanted to. Anyone ever drop their pole in the lake let me know got one for sale now.

Shouldn’t be hard to sell, I see plenty of people looking for them on Facebook.

Still can't get over how bad the bracket is bent and I have never hauled but small tube on it.

Well after paying for the new kit just found out it will take weeks or months to get it delivered to me. Apparently cobalt is going back to the original manufacturer to have it built.

If you can find out who the OEM is please post. Would be great to have a list of original equipment mfg so we can try and buy parts at a lower cost

Paid for the part over a month ago and still being told no progress on getting it to me. So might get it this fall for the winter boating season
