Removing safety labels

Any advise on how to remove safety labels on rear of boat (they are right in the middle of where I need to put my boat name and hailing port)

Easy. Heat gun or hair dryer. Plastic spatula. Goo gone or goof off.

We removed ours, but left sticky residue that is a dirt magnet. Need to try goo/goof to remove...

I used 3m emblem remover to get rid of that.

I keep old credit cards and used gift cards for scraping those sticky spots. Spray a little GooGone and scrape away.

Heat gun then goo gone. Got this heat gun for $15 on amazon....and yes it is the Spanish version
