Mercruser 4.5 Bravo 3 Trim

Bravo 3 trim will go up but will not go down . Any ideas

Could be a bad relay on the trim pump. I think they are the same. Try to switch them.

To get it down crack loose the trim lines under the drive, to see if it goes down as the oil leaks out,Try to go down a little Lubricate the shaft send it back up but NOT all the way back up, retry down lubricate, go further etc - Sometimes they get stuck.
or the something wrong mechanically

Here’s the “ but”
If adding a jump box suddenly allows the rams to draw in then it’s a low voltage issue.
Hydraulic rams require sustained voltage above 10.5 to move on return.
Try it it could be a sleepy battery.

This was happened at speed / cruse above 3000 rpm so if thought the voltage would be covered. Felt selonid clicking. Works great going up. After it setts for a while seems to work for a while. ?
