We have a 2015 R7 with two digital dials that give us water temp, depth, engine temperature, etc. Many of the features don't work. We bought the boat new and they have never worked. Has anyone else experienced problems with their electronic on an R7 and if so how did you get them fixed?

Sorry I can't help. I have had nothing that new yet. Soon though. I take it your dealer had no clue seeing that it's at last two years since you bought it? Did you call Cobalt CS? Hopefully some of the guys here can help you. I would think it's a settings thing. Congrats and get pictures up.

I have to wonder why you are asking a forum for help fixing a problem that is covered under your new boat warranty?
If I bought a new 150k boat and something didn't work, I think any Cobalt dealer would happily and promptly fix it.
I'm actually surprised that you didn't address this immediately..
Unless you are miles away from Cobalt service, A part of me thinks there is more to this story.

Yes would definitely let the warranty cover it and let a dealer fix it if there is a problem.

Really. That would be the one. I actually perfer the 16 over the 17. Some one needs to buy that boat and store it in their garage for a few years for me!

oh and don't take pictures of it. I can add a WSS series also.

Haha BB, here comes a little more to consider...
They also have a 16' R5 with a BB in stock that they haven't been able to sell.
White on white with a navy edge/Tahoe.. Very sharp boat.
Priced to sell. Under 90k with a Venture Commander trailer.
The only problem is that if you have a Cobalt dealer in your area, you may not be able to buy it directly. You probably know this.. Cobalt dealers will only sell in their territory on new buys to price protect each other. Definitely a double edged sword if you are a Cobalt dealer. IMO, kind of un-American to try and regulate free trade and artificially inflate value..and like in this case, it can harm a dealer and it can come back to bite them.
Decent deal from a top quality dealer if you can swing it.
PM me if you want more details.

Thanks for the heads up. Yes if it's a year old I can buy it. Mine has some 2016 also. I'm not in the market for new. Hence the reason I own a 2003.lol granted it looks New.lol no one would know. It's paid for I don't want to borrow money for a boat. It takes the fun out of it. I stress making payments for six months when it's sitting in a garage. Some day you never know. I might flip to get to it. But I want to pay the truck off first. I change my mind too often so who knows what I'll want when I'm ready. If it keeps stalling it might be sooner than later.

I hear you. Sleep is much more peaceful when there is no debt. When the time is right, the right boat will be there...
