Has anyone seen a list by year, make and model of how many of each engine was ordered or installed? I have a 1996 232 with 7.4L-not really all that rare, but how many were made with 502's? Probably would have been big $ back then. Brochure show 2 different 502 options. Would really like to upgrade mine. Any info would be interesting. Thanks, Terry.

I have not seen a listing but you may want to ask the folks in Neodesha KS. We did a Cobalt tour there last year and these are the kind of things you can find out.

Yep email cust service you might get your answer. I did that and I have 1 of 6 with the 8.1 gxi built that year.

Is that a swimplatforms.com swim deck? Looks awesome! I’d be interested in knowing build quantities for ‘96 myself.

Quality is great. I was surprised by the paint match for "fade" over time, and how well it fit. I guess that is a pat on the back for cobalt's quality. If we had ground a little on the right side of the platform it would have been a perfect fit. If you look at the far right and left of the pic where the deck meets the hull you will see the right side has just a slight gap where the left side was up tight. Right side is where a metal hull tag is glued on. Didn't want to pull the deck back off. No one else will even notice it.
