I just took delivery of a 2020 23 ST and was wondering if anyone on here if my power tower is pre wired for tower speakers?

Hello RR23. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

Later model Cobalt’s started getting the prewired towers. Yours should have it.

Any pics?

Are you in the Destin area?

Again welcome aboard mate!

We are actually in Panama City. Thanks for the welcome! I will get pics up soon, ( when I learn how to do it) Looking forward to our trip to Destin- Crab Island once I get the 20 hour break-in done..
Would love to ride over and stay at a Destin hotel that has a overnight slip available. Any ideas on that?

Go under the seats by the area where the tower connects to the boat. On one side you should see 4 wires bound together. That would be them. The other end is under the small caps on the tower. You might need a video scope to get them out.

Pull some of the grommets loose in the tower and you will see the speaker wire sitting in there. My R7 does not have the power folding tower. I have to fold it manually but I pulled a few grommets out once and saw the wiring in there.

You have the M6 tower speakers by JL. Are they the 7.7 or 8.8. How do you like them. I need new ones

Aj you don't need to ask. You know bigger is always better!! Except if you have the 240.

I do not have tower speakers as of now. I just have the Premium sound package with no tower speakers.
