R7 add a hard top?

So just asking here, but has anyone added a hard top to their R7? Not sure I would ever change, but when we were looking for boats, my wife and I really liked the look and convenience of a hard top. We have the tower with the Bimini. Just curious if a hard top can be added without changing the tower and what cost I could expect. Any insight is appreciated.

I cannot say for sure but I dont see how this can be done to look factory and the cost of such would likely be outrageous. I believe the hard top option comes with an entirely different stainless pole system. Never seen one on an R7 before in person but have seen pictures. Honestly I would steer far away from this. If you have the tower and bimini already you have your sun protection. Just leave the bimini out during the season.

agree 100% to TR. I fold my Bimini on my Arch out in mid May and it stays folded out till the end of the season. it is rated to wind speeds of 75mph so even if you are going WOT into a 20mph head wind you are good to go.

Just asking...mainly for my wife. I am happy with what we have. I am sure we will leave it as is.

Well don’t give up.
Should the right beamed series come up or available go for it.
It’s the rear pull out shade option that’s worth the $$

I bet down in Florida there is a company making these and adding them. Just have to go look and go call. Is it worth 50k to add one?

50k? What are we adding a veranda with wrought iron railing?

After it's been cutoff it will take a ton of modifying but it can be done.

In the tow boat world there's manufacturers that offer fixed bimini frames covered with canvas that clamp to a tower. It's not a hardtop, but perhaps one of those may work.

We looked at a Crownline that had a hardtop with the pull out shade as well. Loved it. Not interested in spending a lot of money just because. Maybe years down the road.

We have covered slip. We don't even unfold it in off season.

I do to keep the spider poop off it.
