Suggestions for Mooring Cover on R3

Good morning,
Looking for suggestions on mooring covers for my 2020 R3; It has bimini top with swim platform. Boat will be stored in my boat shed on a lift and be used frequently. That being said; Looking for quality, ease of use etc.

I've thought about a mooring cover my R3, I think I would just order one from Cobalt through my dealer.

The cover from commercial sewing from the dealer is a perfect fit. Feels far superior to the snap on sunbrella. I am not sure how long it will hold up in comparison to the sunbrella, but presumably longer.

$1400. Although I bet you can get a dealer to discount it if you order it with your new boat.

You ordering an R6 with a matching mooring cover?
I think I'll order both covers with a new boat. I like having the bow and cockpit covers as they are easy to get on and off quickly. I can get them off and stow them in 3 or 4 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to button everything back up (all done by me). I thought the mooring cover would take a fair bit longer, what with having to set up webbed straps with the anti pooling poles, but I think the system just keeps more of the boat out of the sun during the week when I'm not at the lake. So it would be the mooring cover Sunday to Friday and the bow and cockpit covers on and off several times during the weekends. Oh and my next boat will be delivered with a custom trailer. there is no savings trying to ordering one separately after the boat arrives.

Can you get the trailer to fit the r8 too!! No sense getting a new trailer every year too

I have both on my R3. I finally gave up on the snap covers. After multiple snaps kept coming undone at roadspeed and a few pulling out of the gelcoat, I got tired of stopping every 30 miles because the tonneau covers were flapping in the breeze. I still take them if the boat is going to be in the water overnight. They are marginally easier to use in the water than mooring cover. Coming off the water and on to the trailer, the mooring cover "might" take me 2 minutes longer to put on than the snap cover and that is solo. If I have help, the mooring cover takes about 8 minutes longer......just sayin.
Get the mooring cover....the boat also stays drier inside.

Whats your plan for your R3? Trade? FSBO?
I keep building an R6 and R7, and struggle seeing the msrp price at 100 k over what I paid for mine.

Whats your plan for your R3? Trade? FSBO?
I keep building an R6 and R7, and struggle seeing the msrp price at 100 k over what I paid for mine.
No plan yet. I’ll wait until my dealer gets his first boat in September/October and if I like what I see I’ll take it out for a water test and see how it handles. I’ll make a plan from there.
