Hey As, my 272 is powered by a 454mag EFI Bravo 1 setup. Motor has a little work done to it😁 and captain's call. Love the boat and layout, takes big waves in stride. Owned it for roughly 10 years. Trying to figure out this upload process........

Nice job on the pic uploads D81...A+.

There were quite a few members at the TRL regatta. Feel free to post some pics of your new TRL best friends to the TRL chat thread located here.

Love the boat name! 🀣

What engine work have you done? What’s the top speed in the 272 with that engine?

I'm not 100% positive about everything that has been done motor wise, as I bought it from the original owner and at 300hrs it was rebuilt. The gentlemen(85 year old man) I bought it from has a son who was a Cobalt mechanic at Sport Boats USA and completely went through the motor at 300hrs. Only thing I remember him telling me is that he put a one step up cam in it and that really "woke" it up. As far as top speed, it's not fast by any means. I've seen 55mph on GPS a couple times with 20gal of fuel. Shes a big girl who likes to cruise around 30-35mph.

Very cool, cam is next on my list. 55 is very respectable for a boat that size! My neighbor has a Regal 28’ and he tops out at 45 with a Volvo 7.4.

Hey Derek!

Good to have you onboard and to meet you last week. Your 272 is a great looking boat and loved the electric swim platform.

Yes nice to meet you as well. You and your wife's story about the platform clunk was great. I only asked if you were there as I thought that looked like you and your boat and the name on it . As you said it goes through the water very well. I was thinking I saw your boat going through some nasty chop Friday with no issues. Nice ride!!

Nice to see another 272 floating around here!

I've got a 98 with the 502 w/ a b1. I've only seen 43mph in it, but I think I'm underpropped

By chance do you have it easily accessible? I need information/measurements on the swim-deck ladder screws! One of mine rusted off and it's in the storage yard. :)
