Hydraulic fluid level

I was looking at the hydraulic fluid reservoir and it looked a bit low. Everything is working fine, so just wondering.... there doesn’t seem to be and “full” indicator on the tank. There is a little green sticker that could indicate high/low levels but I am just guessing. Can’t see it in the photo. Manual is no help.
Anyone?

.
That actually looks slightly low. Beware though that this hydraulic pump may control multiple items which can affect the fluid level when checking.
Ours also controls the engine hatch. If the hatch rams are raised the reservoir shows 2/3-3/4 full and with the hatch closed it shows full.
What does yours control ....outdrive and hatch?....just outdrive?....trim tabs? 🤔

Good point. As the oil is pushed into the lines, the level changes. The hydraulics control the outdrive and the engine hatch. No trim tabs. The picture was taken with the outdrive in the full up position and the hatch open.
So how do I know definitively?

You can close yourself in the hatch.

I will do that. My gut tells me you are right and it’s a bit low. Since it isn’t causing any operating problems, and it doesn’t appear to be leaking, I might just Add a half inch, monitor it and talk to a mechanic during its next service.
Thanks for your help!

Lower the outdrive. Raise the hatch. Our hatch can then be lifted off the rams and onto a "prop-rod" which props the hatch up. We then lower the rams and check the fluid.
