I have either Hi-C or spaghetti sauce in my Seagrass. I'm leaning toward Hi-C. Anyway, it's been there a couple of days baking in the sun. Does anyone have experience or thoughts on getting this out? I don't relish the thought of replacing it. I'm sure it isn't cheap. I have used Dawn dishwashing liquid and Oxi-Clean. Neither product seemed to touch it.

Hi 2ridgebacks. Lot of experience with this. Hi-C is the most powerful staining chemical known to humankind! Along with all koolaid (and any other red or colorful stuff you spill on a boat)! ...and red sauce ain't no slouch at staining either! Anyway, the vinyl (pvc) is clear coated on too layer so you can likely win here. Recc: use isopropyl rubbing alcohol or odorless mineral spirits and towel to remove grease spots. If this doesn't do it get neutral ph cleaner and scrub, or I would prob opt for a small dab of a spray cleaner containing bleach and scub the spot only. Always wipe any cleaner off with wet rag to remove chem from the vinyl. Good luck! Hope this helps!

I'm with you on nothing red. I was trying to help out and bring some trash home from the lake. Nobody remembered to take the trash out when we got home. Some critter found the trash before I remembered it.

Oh No.That sucks. I hope it comes out. Get in the sun too to help bleach it out. I had a bird crap red berries and the bio kleen took it out after sitting for a day.

Well, I just hooked up to the boat for a nine day respite. When putting the tube in, my wife asked what I used to get the stain out. I haven't looked at the boat since my first post on Monday. I about created a new stain when I crawled up and looked at the floor and the stain had vanished without a trace!
I used Dawn and Oxi-Clean. I scrubbed the crap out of both. Neither phased it and both were rinsed thoroughly. I guess two days of sunshine did the trick! I have no other explanation. Thanks for the tips. Now that I have left mine, I'm headed for the lake. Standby for boat pics.
