hi, I've had my Cobalt for just under 10 years and just found this site.
It's a 1988 22 B/R (actually 22.5) with 350 ci mercruiser with the high intake and alpha one. I am not that familiar with boats overall but this boat has been great. It's a bit unusual I believe. It has a porta potty setup with sink and exhaust fan. Large bench rear seat that slides out to bed, back to back lounger and single captain seat with a removable table right behind. I looked thru the manual and the boat was offered with "entertainment option", it was a bar setup with 4 decanters and water spigot, been searching ebay since to find that setup, so cool.
Still have Lotsa questions and some minor fixes, looking forward to all help.

Good looking boat! Very similar to my '87 21BR.

After reading thru many posts here I am determined to give the hull a good cleaning and bring out that Cobalt gelcoat.

Try some hull cleaner first and then go from there.
