Today I stripped out the handle on my Fulton Winch, M#T1801, poor design IMO, looking at replacing the handle but think it may be time to replace with new, existing is 1800#
Anyone have any advice??

I would find the one with the highest rating which still fits your trailer.
Believe the one I have is a Dutton. It has 2 speeds.

Like b said and make sure the mounting holes line up.

I ordered the Dutton-Lainson DL2500A 2500 lb Plated Pulling Winch, looks like it will bolt right on.
Thanks

FYI
The new winch bolted right on, I'm impressed with the gear ratio, makes loading boat easier

Thanks. I just ordered a 8000 lbs strap fit mine. Thinking of a upgrade soon too.

I replaced mine without even trying the one that came with the trailer. Easy upgrade and makes loading much easier.

FYI
the new Dutton winch is really nice, makes me wish I'd replaced a long time ago, bolted right on

That's the same one I put on my trailer. I agree, makes loading much easier.
