Had a conversation with the boss this weekend on whether or not the 262 should have SeaDek on the door of the anchor locker. She likes the idea of having something there for kids getting on/off the boat at the dock. I'm not convinced it would look right aesthetically...

Anyone got pics of theirs done/opinions?

Bfun and I think yt have there done. No one gets off the frt of the boat like that on mine. But if they did then I would be for it.

I plan to do it. It’s great for jumping off the bow when you’re swimming.

It’s quite the drop from the anchor locker on the r7 to the water. So I would probably not do it. I never load onto a trailer either.

Agree with you here tgrace, I feel the same about distance to water on mine, and to be honest, not so crazy about the kids jumping off the front of the boat as there is normally an anchor line out there also. My wife's thought is more or less just to assist the little ones with getting off when getting back or leaving the dock (I normally ask the adults to board via the swim platform, also not crazy about adults putting full weight on that door). When the boat is in the water off the lift, its only a foot or two above dock level.

I think it looks fine but again I'm not a big fan of kids jumping off the front of the boat. Mine being a cuddy cabin its a no go just for that reason. I hate foot prints!

My kids just jump off the non skid on top of the anchor locker door without difficulty. Personally I think you can have too much of a good thing - but everyone's taste is different.

We don't jump off the front. U just like the look.

I had it on my old boat and loved the way it looked.

We have it on ours and like it. It ties in the floor covering and it is not slippery for a stray grand kid.
