Quirks of a new to us 2019 R3 Surf

Just spent our first day on the new boat, and it was great day. Only a couple quirks that we need to sort out. The interior lights and those on the tower are not coming on with the dash switch, except the single one your feet at the helm.
The next issue is the kill switch lanyard nearly just falls out. In some rougher chop the key fell out and some quick searching here led me to that solution but it’s is still very loose.
The last one at the moment is the “ghost filling of the ballast tanks while we were anchored. After an hour or so sitting, the rear tanks we can see had filled 1/8-1/4. Is this normal or could it be a leaking pump letting water pass through.
I used the search feature first but if I should modify my terminology to find a solution, just let me know.
Overall we’re really happy with the boat and thankful for the CC to get these questions answered.
