Hello Boaters,

We took a pause from boating for some years and just bought this '14 200. Was thinking of buying new, but found the '14 with only 40 hrs. with what we were looking for. We've been out two times on the Missouri River so the boat is up to 46 hrs. already! Ha.

I'd like to add a fishfinder/depth finder. The small LCD below the speedo is better than nothing, but I want something more useful. Any ideas or tips are welcome! I don't want to mess up the dash and so far, can't find a wiring diagram. I don't know what kind of in-hull transducer is already installed or it's compatibility. Just started looking but I like the features of the Garmin Striker™ plus 5cv so far. :)

Hey MoRiver
Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

Great pics. You’re going to make some amazing memories in her.

Yes the Garmin seems to be popular and a fan favorite.

How do you like the swim step? Any issues with the pin breaking? Have you ever accidentally left it down while underway?

Again welcome aboard mate!

.

Thank you, AsLan7! I like the layout of the whole swim platform. Haven't actually used the swim step yet. We've sat out by the platform with the step up. Will keep an eye on that pin.

Nice looking boat.

How do you like running the Missouri? We are only an hour away but have never been on it. Thats weird because we are on the Mississippi 3 times a summer.

We've boated the Missouri for a long time. The nearby lakes are just too small. I'd boat the Mississippi too if it was close enough.

Welcome from Arkansas/Mississippi. Nice find on the boat.
I also like that you've been out twice...and six hours. Way to go.
You a Cornhusker fan? My uncle taught there seems like forever.
Way back to the years he helped keep Johnny Rodgers out of jail.
Good luck, and enjoy this site.

Thanks Krob1114! The Rodgers days were a long time ago. We're hoping to get a few hours on the water today since the weather warmed up.

Great lookin’ boat. I don’t think I’ve seen that color combo in the past; I like it. A ~6 year old boat with ?40 hours? That’s a great find! Crazy actually ... time for it’s first oil change and to winterize. I have no clue about transducers, but I suspect you’ll have to upgrade. Back in my public accounting days, I used to have to run to Omaha NE, Harlan, IA, and Sioux City IA for engagements; even though they talked kind’a funny, people in that part of the country are no-nonsense, really nice folks. I always enjoyed working up there. Welcome and have fun.

I'm in agreement on the people of Nebraska. When I was living in Ft. Lauderdale, I was a huge Miami Hurricane fan.
As a professor at Nebraska well connected to football team, my uncle would come to the Orange Bowl and I'd go with him, sitting in the middle of the Nebraska fans. Loved them. Also, enjoyed the Virginia Tech fans and Iowa State fans.
1984 Orange Bowl, Miami's first National Championship, my uncle had to go to Paris so he gave me his tickets. I was loving it.
A few days before the game, my boss suprised me with round trip flight to Steamboat Springs and lift tickets. I gave the tickets to my girlfriend. He died several years ago, but I never told him that I didn't go to the game.Great game and great respect for Tom Osbourn.

When I saw the ad saying 40 hours, I thought it was a typo. I had to call and check.
