Second to last day out today. Beautiful mid 70s day on Winnipesaukee.
Got my boat back from the detail shop today. Had the exterior wet sanded and fully restored plus ceramic coating. I know some on here are against the coating. Everyone I have talked to around the lake swears by this guy's work. Been at it since 94. Not cheap, but Captain Fantasy looks mint.
One more ride tomorrow and then she gets pulled

Yeah not my trailer. I don't have one. Boat has lived on Winni it's whole life. I'm the third owner. The detail shop is across the street from a marina on the lake. I'd guess they could haul up to a 40' boat with that frankenbeast.
Looking forward to the next few projects winter into spring. Winter I'm working on a custom tabletop to replace the white one.

Me and the wife made it out for a cruise today. We went up to the north end of table rock today which is by Cape Fair and Galena. Ended up doing about 97 miles total as it’s a little over 40 each way plus we hit a few other spots to on the way back. Water was still 72 so I got in at one point. But for me that was short lived because 72 degrees is

to us.

We got great weather for our bittersweet last weekend of boating for the year. The R5 went into winter storage late yesterday and the pontoon comes out today.

The boat looks great deadhead but watch those trim tabs when you put the boat on a trailer! I can see that they are down in the first picture. They need to be in the full up position or they could get crushed if they come into contact with the bunks on the trailer. That will definitely ruin a good boating day.

Last outing of 2020. Awesome sunset Friday night. Found some protection from the cool breeze in a cove on Saturday and listened to the Hogs beat Ole Miss; then I let my daughter bring her in. Final cleaning on Sunday morning; she’s buttoned up until Spring.
