2014 Cobalt 232 Amp wire leads?

Hello, I own a 2014 232, the stock audio setup was the base setup on my boat. Sony head unit and 6 speakers. No transom or tower speakers, no sub and no amp.
I recently replaced the head unit and I have ordered more equipment, an amp, sub and new 6.5’s. For powering the amp I saw leads that are 8 gauge in the compartment where the head unit sits, they are labeled amp (currently not attached to anything as the boat did not have an amp installed at the factory). 8 gauge will be sufficient for the amp I ordered. I was able to trace the ground wire back to the grounding distribution block. My issue is I can’t see where the positive wire runs too. I want to check the fuse size to ensure it’s sufficient. It does not run to the battery, it does not run to the battery switch power block either. I’m hoping somebody who is familiar can tell me where the positive amp wire runs to?
I appreciate the help.
