Wake Shaper 2019 R7 Surf

If you HAVE USED a Wake Shaper on an R5 or R7 surf can you provide the brand used and any feedback. I have looked for post on this but can not locate actual user feedback.

I have the Swell wake shaper, visually I can't tell a difference in the wave vs not using it. My kids, who are good, don't notice a difference. I seem to ride slightly better with it.
Bottom line though is I don't think it makes enough improvement to justify.

We tried one and sent it back, had much better luck using a fat sack. We have a 2020 R7 surf. Our fat sac we put on the floor, it’s a 400 lb one, we use the tsunami pump to fill it up. It fills up about the same time the stock tanks do. Gives our wave a noticeable pop when there are just a few people in the boat. Hope that helps.

Agreed. I hadn’t really checked it out. This is impressive.
