Lake shoes! Anyone recommend good lake shoes?

The one thing I haven’t mastered is my lake fashion. Specifically, a good pair of lake shoes. I keep ruining all my slip on deck shoes that I love. Sandals never work. Marina water moccasins type shoes always fall apart. Tennis shoes are to much work and don’t work when wet. Soooo, anyone have a good “get wet” and “hike” type of lake shoe?

Don’t get me started on my outfits. All 80’s for me. Gold chain, unbuttoned shirt. My wife hates it. Which is why I love it.

Thanks for any help.

I have a pair of Keen Uneek sandals that I usually wear to the lake. They are waterproof but are good for hiking, the biggest downfall is it’s kind of a hassle to get sand out of them.

I am sold on Tevas as boat shoes. Good grip, easy to put on and take off, comfy, dry fast.

I use these:

Crocs are pretty much the perfect boating shoe.

Cool, good support, good traction, fast drying and they float.

And if you prefer sandals Olukai is the best brand currently IMO. Superior to Teva, Reef etc

I wear Olukais nonstop during the summer on land, but prefer the Tevas on the lake. YMMV.

I like my Reef Fanning flip flops. They have non-marking soles like a boat shoe, and also have a bottle opener on the bottom.
Not sure how high fashion you're looking to get, or how much serious hiking you'll do around the lake, but these are my go-to footwear in the spring through early fall.

I tell you what. I’ve always wanted Sperry’s. I bought a pair for a couple trips where I knew I’d have a lot of “dock time”.... every single time I’ve worn them I’ve been caught in a rainstorm, dove in after a sinking cell phone, and caught in a rainstorm.

I say that to say, I wear flip flops or vans. I’d like to try a pair of Chaco’s, but something tells me it’ll be the same outcome. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
