Torque spec, 262 with arch, arch hold down nuts

Post by JtotheL »

This is probably gonna be a tough one but figured if anyone would know it would be someone within this forum. I have a 2001 262 with the arch. I just remove the arch to have some paint work done to it and it is held on by five nuts on each side. Anyone have any idea what the torque spec on those nuts would be? :?:

Out of curiosity, I talked to Rick at the Factory just now. There is no torque spec on that arch. Tighten securely & evenly without cracking the fiberglass. You're free to call them as well at (620) 325-2653.

Post more pics. I've owned both the 262 and currently the 263 with the arch. The 2000-2007 models were the best to ever come out of the world headquarters in Neodesha. ;) :D

Wow, thanks for the information. I guess that's why they run lock washers on there. It makes sense but it would also be helpful If they had a torque spec LOL
I understand why they don't host images on this forum but it's kind of a pita for me to upload pics. Whenever I get the arch back on it and get her detailed I'll definitely show some pics. I'm on the fence right now on going see floor or new carpet at the moment so I'll prob get that done soon too
