Just finished making the final touches on my boat insurance policy tonight.

It goes into affect at midnight tonight.

Cannot say enough good things about Ski Safe/Sea Safe Insurance and their customer service.

Had them as our insurance carrier for the 262 model Cobalt and they were always a pleasure to deal with...even when bad things happened to our Cobalt (prop damage, outdrive X-ray's, towing issues, etc.).

Also, their annual premium price is one of the best around.

Cobalt tender in a house boat.. that's guys just showing off!!

Allstate as they cover submerged itemsthat can wreck outdrives..I have been there x2 bravos.
Insurance that covers key on is something everyone needs to check.

I think that boat was on ebay selling it for parts..
I'm state farm and I have not made a boat claim in 8 or more years but I think I may have broken that string tonight. We shall see. They have been great four everything over the past 35 years.

That 220 Cobalt had 8 on board and the driver killed 2 where in the bow. Happened on Grand Lake. 40-50mph into that houseboat. Ugly seen. Again drinking and driving Don't mix.
That was the boat I saw on ebay and CL. Someone bought it for parts.

After a few changes, I use Charter Colony who writes with Markel. I was able to insure both my ski's and the Cobalt - the coverage was better than Progressive and cost less.

Re the first pic, you know the driver of the Cobalt was after minded - he had his throw cushion at the ready.

I've got everything through State Farm. They have been great. When I've always had claims they are there and settled no issues. I will never change.

I also got my boat insurance through Boat U.S. and GEICO.
Had State Farm for years, no claims, but had to leave when daughter turned 16.
I check every year at renewal time, and pricing is not even close.
