New Owner - 2004 Cobalt 240

Hi, new to us Cobalt Owner. 2004 Cobalt 240, with 6.2 Merc. Will post pics once we’re out on the water. Couple test runs and I’m already impressed with the ride/handling compared to our previous Crownline 225 (which we loved). I’ve been lurking on this board for a little while, trying to soak up some knowledge, so wanted to say hi!

Looking at a 2004 Cobalt 240 with a VP 5.7 GI 280 HP. Is that enough for 8 people 4 adults and 4 kids? Will do tubing and skiing for water sports.
