Hi everyone
Just took delivery of my new to me 2017 SC25 and unfortunately the stainless grab bar on the rear sit is broken.
It looks like the bolt within the seat let go.
Would this be covered under warranty?
Has this happened to any of you? Any other solution than to take it all apart?
I am disappointed to say the least
Thanks for any thoughts

Did the nuts just come off them?

I believe thats what happened but I am not sure. It got delivered and then I noticed the problem.
How would I know if there is another issue other than the nut?

None of the threaded stud look broken. Yes it would be warranty.
The issue is the seat back has to come off and takin apart. Do you feel like you can tackle that? If not you will have to bring it in. I would lock tight on the threads this time. Just saying.

I can certainly take the seat off but I am not comfortable taking it apart.
My problem is that I live in New Brunswick Canada and there are no Cobalt dealers around.
I will have to contact Cobalt warranty I guess and see how they want me to proceed.
Thank you for your reply BBP. It won’t stop me from enjoying my new boat

Honestly take pictures of the seat. I'm guessing it's all stapled together somewhere. Easy to remove easy to put back together. Or maybe your lucky it has a zipper. I doudt it but hey you never know. Then peel it like a orange and fix it.
