Boats are selling fast.

As I stated in my other thread, I plan on buying more of a day boat after my SeaRay sells. One of the Models I am seriously considering (probably my #1 choice) is a Cobalt 293. So I have been looking online to get a feel for the market. A very nice 1999 popped up early this at one of the Skipper Buds outlets in Michigan. It was priced at what I thought was a ridiculous $49,000. I was wrong, sold in 3-4 days.

That sounds like a pretty darn good price for that boat in today's market. Looks pretty well maintained

Its been like this since last summer. We sold 2 boats, the first we listed and it sold within 5 minutes sight unseen. The second we didnt list as I found a friend was looking and we gave them a friend deal because we knew we were selling later that summer anyhow

This is one of the few Cobalts listed at our local dealer that doesn't say " coming soon".

If I haven't Gotten a call in 2 months what does that mean? Just think of how many are missing out of a great boat.

He’s actually a pretty nice guy. Important too. After I sent my down payment he thanked me and said he’s going to get back to me soon. Something about his Nigerian Prince duties called. I told him I completely understand. When you’re that important and powerful you probably can’t get back to somebody right away.
Sometimes a little patience pays off though. I’m glad I waited since I heard from him again last night. Boat is definitely mine after another down payment to hold. In my excitement I wired him some more money knowing I got a leg up on these suckers that tried to buy this boat before I did. Sorry guys. Looks like I beat you to the punch on this one. I’m riding high knowing this boat will soon be in my driveway.
(Oh and he said he’ll put a fresh set of made in the USA Maxxis on it as well.)

Looks like a bidding war. I'm up early because I'm working. Hope it's not too late to put more in his Venmo account and out bid both of you.
Headed to S. Florida as soon as I get off. 15 hour drive ( with radar detector) so I'll post pics of interior probably tommorrow. Probably has a bid block 430 in it.

K14 you’re so gullible. Anyone can PLAINLY see in the picture it has the 430 HP
SMALL block 6.2L Volvo Penta just by looking at the surf drive. Might want to sit this one out buddy and let the professionals like me buy this one.

Ok...all I really wanted was the extra ski pylon anyway. I guess I'll just go to our lake.
