Will my 2000 206 ride on this trailer? It's 20' tail to tongue. I'm thinking:

-Move keel boards in
-Install vertical bunks outside
-New rollers
-Are side boards needed?

How do I know how wide to set the vertical bunks? There is nothing in the owners manual or reference online. Do I just physically measure?

Looks like the trailer is set for a flat bottom boat. I would want 4 bunks under my boat not 2. I would also look at the load capacity of that trailer and tires to see if it enough for your boat. That trailer looks pretty light duty to me. If that trailer is only 20’ from the tongue to the rear of the bunks then it probably too short for a 206 too. I think my trailer for my 26’R5 is over 30’.

Cobalt has a chart that shows the dimensions for the bottom of the boats. The one I have is only for the current boats from maybe 2015 or so.
Check them out. They won't tell you exactly what you want, but they'll help.

you can make it work, but like youve said you will have to adjust the bunks to make it fit. Hopefully those bunks pivot on the brackets, otherwise you will need to make them angled to fit the deadrise of the boat.

Measure the boat with a tape and get everything as close as you can, then once you load it on you will know if you need to make any more adjustments.

the big thing is the bow eye to transom measurement. for a 20' boat it will probably be somewhere around 18'. being a dual axle it should have plenty of carrying capacity, but double check.

Any brakes?

It doesn’t have surge brakes by the type of the ball mount but I see a blue wire and If wired correctly blue is for electric brakes. I don’t see an EOH electric brake pump either so all that leaves is regular electric brakes. I can’t zoom in far enough on the back of the wheels to see what type of backing plate is on it.

IMHO that trailer isn’t long enough. My 250 trailer is 31’ long. You’ll have two feet hanging off the back with only bunk support. That will also shift the weight off the tongue, both bad. Check out Loadmaster Trailer. I bought a custome trailer from them. I have already trailered a couple thousand miles and found their trailer to be perfect.

You are preaching to the choir when talking about Loadmaster trailers! I have one for my R5, it is by far the best trailer I have ever pulled! It is also the best loading trailer I have ever used too. I don’t think you could get the boat on crooked if you tried.

Can anyone share bunk lengths and spacing for their 206 trailer? Cobalt sent me a hull schematic but oddly all the dims are not their and they could/would not provide them.
