Off season, other than boating hobbies?

I basically have no life other than boating and work.
But, I do love LOVE snowmobiling.
Our southern friends may not get to experience snowmobiling, but it's basically like motocross riding at a faster pace. And it's always about HP and performance around here. Usual rides are 100 miles long. Great fun with a different group of friends that get together to enjoy the winter.
Great excersize when the weather blows...literally.

Sporting Clays and Guitars.

I used to spend a lot of time shooting Sporting Clays. Got fairly good at the sport. Now I only shoot occasionally, but I still enjoy it.

Still play guitar. I'm basically a 3-4 trick pony, but I'm good at those. Wow!!! They say you're really good. Then I act like I'm going to give others a chance to play and set back. Only my wife is wise to it, she knows. Used to play in bands, but now just practice alone most the time. It leads to sloppiness.

When the boat gets tucked in for winter I break out my snow skis and enjoy the cold and all snow just as much as I do a hot summer day on the lake....I like to diversify...its nice to have a hobby to enjoy no matter the season! I have to travel a little further to enjoy the slopes but totally worth it!

Oh we also manage to squeeze some time in on the golf course too!

Our world too revolves on and around the water as we live on the Delta. I go from recreational family boating to Fishing during December to March. We do Visit Lake Tahoe for Skiing and weekends about 5 times and travel to Lake Havasu with friends 2 or 3 times in march-april for yes.. you guessed it.. Boating.
May have to try Snowmobiling as I have only done it once (rental) and It was More fun than skiing.. Keep you posted.

It would be awesome for individuals here on the site to be able to list their hobbies & interests in their avatar account info section.

I enjoy that very much on another forum of which I participate. Great way to get to know others on the forum. Quick easy access. ...just click on their username and info comes up (birthday, hobbies, interests, etc. ).

For instance, click on asLan7 and you would see:

Hobbies & Interests:
Cobalt boating of course!
Flying; Scuba, Volleyball; Christian apologetics; Muscle cars, Classic car restorations; Mountain biking; Lacrosse, Sailing; Carver home audio and theater...

Vices:
Cheese 😁
Speed; 😎
Playing music so loud that my wife and family yell at me to turn it down 😬

John, any thoughts on site capabilities to make that happen (if it's not too much work??)

Well, if that door is going to open I guess I'll step through it. We work hard but when we take off we try to have fun. And now that the kids are grown and gone my priorities have changed somewhat. M wife says my attention span is not very HEY! A squirrel!

I love to spend time with my wife, my kids, and my grandbabies. In any way shape form or fashion.

I'm very involved in the auction industry. I spend a lot of time with continuing education as well as teaching CE to folks all across the country.

After that...

Great stuff Ytmsn.

Thanks Aslan! I see that you ride mountain bikes. I ride a 29" Cannondale Lefty full suspension Scalpel.

I don't do any hunting but I do a lot of shooting. I have a full range with a variety of steel targets as well as long distance hardened steel targets.

I'm a Specialized man myself...picked her up in Germany while deployed to Frankfurt during Balkan war in Kosovo. Rode thru Swiss alps with her!
