Keel Offset Garman 742 Plus

Anyone with a Garmin 742 Plus and Intelliducer have trouble setting the keel offset? I prefer to read true depth and set the offset to -1ft (R5) The depth does not seem to change even if I set it to a much higher number. After repowering the unit the offset defaults back to 0ft. Temperature offset works fine. Running V24.10
