Newbie 262 From Missouri

Hello all!
We just picked up a new to us 2001 262.
Im sure i will have plenty of questions
Anyone else around the St. Louis MO area?

Hey b88. So glad you found us!…and yeeeeehawwww another 260 series hull. My favorite.
First upgrade will be stainless cup holders. It will bring your Cobalt into the 21st century.
It appears you have the transom filler cushions option. Did they come with the purchase?
How is she powered? Ask away my friend.

It’s actually an olive color.
we thought it was black or gray until we drove it.

Welcome! Great looking 262! I use to have one similar just in red/white. It’s an amazing boat.
Where are you taking it? I’m in the St. Louis area but I boat at table rock

Yes it came with all the filler cushions, table etc. heck i even got the backpack that came with the boat

We picked it up from Kimberling City. We have a place in Reeds Spring MO, with a tri-toon. So the cobalt will stay up here with us and be on the ole mississippi

Stainless cup holders can easily be purchased on EBay or
Amazon. They’re everywhere.
You can purchase unlit ones or some choose the RGB versions.

If you ever see a red 262 on the river with the tower that is my old one.
