282 on a 262 trailer?

Quick question. Will a 2006 282boat fit on my 2001 262 trailer. Besides hanging off the back? Or will we need to adjust bunks?
I know the 282’ beam is 9’. Just curious if anyone has done it or not. Not driving far.

As info a 282 will fit on a 262 Trailer

What is your tongue weight? Looks WAY too much for a 1/2T truck without a weight distributing hitch.
