Does anyone know what fabric the Cobalt mooring cover is made from and the manufacture?

Snowman8 posted that the OEM was made by Commercial Sewing.

The one that came with mine, and all the videos I've seen showing how to use it by yourself, came from Armour.

They r owned by commercial sewing. They won’t sell to you. Only through dealer….annoying

Just ordered Sharkskin Supreme SD from I-boats (Westland product). Hope to have it next week. I will post my initial thoughts after its installed with pics. Little unsure about it but fingers crossed.

When I went to Westland, Cobalt did not come up as a boat choice.
Please add pics to your thoughts when you post.
Thanks.

I also would be very interested in your evaluation of the cover.

Go with the OEM Commercial Sewing cover, you won’t be disappointed! It doesn’t move towing it down the freeway at 75 mph. They are also made of Sunbrella. I ordered it for the EZ fold bimini and it fits perfectly too!

I have sewn a lot of covers with Sunbrella. I have the OEM cover. I really don't think it's Sunbrella...at least the standard marine Sunbrella I have always bought.

I was wrong, they are made of a solution dyed polyester.. They have 3 different grades shown on their site and don’t really ay what the covers are made of, or at least I didn’t find where it says what they are made of. I do know the fabric feels just as heavy as my Sunbrella bow & cockpit covers but it feels like it has some sort of coating on it. It is definitely a high quality cover!

Sunbrella does make a product with a coating on it. It's called Sunbrella plus. It's not that product for sure. Sunbrella is a solution dyed acrylic.
