Does anyone know what fabric the Cobalt mooring cover is made from and the manufacture?

Re: Mooring Cover
The one that came with mine, and all the videos I've seen showing how to use it by yourself, came from Armour.Rlauria wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 3:37 pm Does anyone know what fabric the Cobalt mooring cover is made from and the manufacture?

When I went to Westland, Cobalt did not come up as a boat choice.Pilotmike wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:40 am Just ordered Sharkskin Supreme SD from I-boats (Westland product). Go with the OEM Commercial Sewing cover, you won’t be disappointed! It doesn’t move towing it down the freeway at 75 mph. They are also made of Sunbrella. I ordered it for the EZ fold bimini and it fits perfectly too!

Re: Mooring Cover
I have sewn a lot of covers with Sunbrella. I have the OEM cover. I really don't think it's Sunbrella...at least the standard marine Sunbrella I have always bought.Snowman8 wrote: Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:16 pm Go with the OEM Commercial Sewing cover, you won’t be disappointed! I was wrong, they are made of a solution dyed polyester.. They have 3 different grades shown on their site and don’t really ay what the covers are made of, or at least I didn’t find where it says what they are made of. I do know the fabric feels just as heavy as my Sunbrella bow & cockpit covers but it feels like it has some sort of coating on it. It is definitely a high quality cover!

Re: Mooring Cover
Sunbrella does make a product with a coating on it. It's called Sunbrella plus. It's not that product for sure. Sunbrella is a solution dyed acrylic.Snowman8 wrote: Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:16 am I was wrong, they are made of a solution dyed polyester..
