Chrome hoses

Anyone ever change out rubber engine hoses for chrome. Something like this, Think old school hot rods.

Can't say I've seen any actual chrome lines besides fuel lines. Most of what I remember, the hot rods had braided coverings over the rubber hoses. This might be a good alternative though.

No help here....I was into sports cars, not hot rods.
Cool looing hose though.
