2000 226 Bimini help!!!???

2000 226 without the OEM Bimini…. Has OEM convertible top… but not very user friendly for standing up and freely walking around. I would like to add/install a bimini, (brackets, poles, canvas), that is close to OEM as possible!!!!! I’ve done the internet search coming up with iboat, savvyboater, Great Lakes etc…..!!!!! Products look ok….but I want poles instead of cordura straps….. aka like OEM! Thanks !!!

Hey M680 so glad you found us.
Any pics of this Cobalt with the frustrating bimini challenge?
Occasionally I see an OEM 226 bimini come up on eBay. We can keep an eye out.
Btw, you do love your exclamation points.

Thanks for the shout out.... I've found Cobaltchat to be very helpful in my second season with my 226!!

I was in your exact predicament with our ex-226. Luckily I found an OEM 226 Bimini for sale on a popular social media website. My first choice was to purchase from these folks:

However they seem to be on hold for retail consumer purchases. So I fell into a factory 226 bimini. I did replace the webstraps with the adjustable poles and mounts from Cobalt. I should have the receipt somewhere for those two part numbers.
But I would send an email to the folks at RNR anyway to see if they would take an order…
Good luck an will dig for those other two part numbers.

These are on eBay and someone should buy them for when you also drop yours in the lake. Lol
But maybe you could use these instead of the web strap.

Yep those are the front poles, used them on my 226, luckily the ML4 Tritoon uses them too, easy to adjust....

Thanks for the replies everyone.... I was looking at RNR Marina as well...continued delays...and I senti sent them an email ....we'll see if they put me on the docket for an OEM Bimini ..
OH...BTW....WHERE CAN I GET STAINLESS CUP HOLDERS THAT FIT PROPERLY???? or for that matter new white ones.... They have yellowed over the years.

They are all over the web. I got mine on ebay or Amazon. If they are wrong on Amazon is easy to return them.
