Bravo 3 Props

I have an 07 232 with a Merc MX 6.2L MPI 320 hp, Bravo 3 with a drive ratio of 2.2. The factory props are 3 blade front and 3 blade rear at 24 pitch (48-823665/666).

Main use for the boat is cruising, pulling tubes, and going fast.

Questions:
1) New bravo 3 drives come with 4 blade front and 3 blade rear. Is it worth upgrading to this setup if current 3 blade setup is nicked up? What is the difference in performance?
2) Mercury prop selector for best overall performance for my boat and setup says I should have a 26 pitch setup. (8M8022420/430) What would the 2 pitch increase deliver?
3) If I have an open checkbook… Should I consider the Bravo 3 XR Pro setup at 25 pitch? (48-842943L70/48-842944L70) Website says the pro version 25 pitch is like the normal version 26 pitch. This is like an extra $200 per prop compared to normal version.

Talk to the guys at Hill Marine / Signature Propeller. I upgraded by 3-blades to their Four by 4 series and extremely pleased with the results. Improved hole shot, huge mid-range improvement and kept same WOT. Adding another blade both front & rear they suggested their 22P sets (came from 24P, 3-blades).

Yes hill makes a good merc 4x4 set up. Never heard anything bad about them. But volvo set up not worth a crap. On mine all 4 boards were different sizes and thickness.
So
The merc 4x3 is also a good set up. The 4 blades will give you the good hole shot and the 3 blade will give you a good top end.

I use Solas props on mine and they have been recommended over Merc props.

Call Ventura Propellor and have a chat with the owner. I spent 2 hours talking with him about props in person.

Are you saying you purchased from Hill and their Volvo set up wasn’t good?

I have and yes volvo was junk from them. Customer service was terrible and took almost 2 years to get a exchange from my first set of props from them. I had Bblades blue print and redesign them and lab finish them. So I had another grand into fixing them.
