Access under R3 passenger seat

Sorry for the double post...I am out on the water and hoping to get this resolved this afternoon...
I cannot believe this is my 1st post! Just got my 2020 R3 this weekend...pics to follow. But 1st things 1st...
My wife just dropped her phone into the opening on the side of the passenger seat that leads to under the cooler area. I am referring to the cutout where the forward/back seat bracket functions. Yeah...perfect.
My guess is that the area underneath is completely sealed off as I cannot see any entry from the port side storage area. And while it appears that there are at least 6 screws that hold the seat platform on, I cannot get to the screws easily as the seat cushions obstruct access.
So any ideas? Is there a way to easily remove the seat cushion? Or am I going to have to cut through the cooler area? Or leave the phone there forever more ($1,000 phone. only a couple of months old)?
Thanks in advance, John

Well you're not the first with the phone. .. if that's any conciliation. They should really have an access door

WOW...I appreciate the quick responses and the lead to that other post. I figured I was not the 1st to have had the issue and there would be other posts on here, but since it was already Sunday at about 4pm, I was trying as quickly as I could to find a solution and posted right away.
Soon after posting, I did in fact find the panel in the storage area where the battery switches are located. I removed the panel and was eventually able to find the phone it by blindly feeling around. It was pretty tough to reach, and honestly I feel lucky because I am sure there is a lot of other room under there where I would not have been able to get to.
I am sure this will happen again. I'm trying to think of a way to block those slots, but I can't imagine how because the seat needs to move. If anyone comes up with anything it would be great to hear. That 6" hole in the ski locker sounds like it might be best bet.
Now a couple of things I've learned...
1st...Do not lean too far into that storage area. Trust me. My shoulders are killing me now, and I am not sure how I would have explained it to the Sheriff what the hell I was doing to get stuck in there head first. I'm not kidding, I was close to panic mode trying to push myself up. Yeah, I'm not skinny.
2nd...Bring duct tape on board. Why? Because I am going to duct tape that phone to my wife's forearm. Problem solved!

Hey welcome. This exact issue is how we found and joined this website. The link in the first response should give you the info. Our local dealer didn’t even know you could get access through the panel in the seat behind it. This is a great website for learning your boat. We love our R3, and again; welcome.

I am thinking of just getting a couple of pieces of thin white plastic...a plastic kitchen cutting board comes to mind...as something than can just sit under the seat cushion. It would need to be moved when changing the backrest position, but that's a heck of a lot better than the alternative.

What you could do is cut a slot in that and work it around the support of the back rest so that it moves with the backrest. You don't really need to cover the entire slot - just enough of it so a cell phone can't fall into it.
Or another option would be to buy a cord brush strip. Cut it in half and place it on either side of the slot. The brushes will offer enough resistance to stop anything from going through the slot, but still allow the support to move freely. They sell similar things in white for cables going through walls. may have to buy a few, disassemble to get just the white brushes out and install them in series.

I don't know if it's my browser, I'm currently using updated Edge on Windows 12, but the links the the above two posts don't show up.
I tried to copy a link on one of my posts also, and the link didn't show up, so I just deleted the posts.
It shows as a gray rectangle, like a page and a half of a legal pad, with a sheet of paper inside rectangle, with upper right corner folded and a circle with a line through it at the bottom right, like a Do Not Enter sign.
Thanks.

It's not just you...same problem using a Mac with Safari browser. However, I was able to see the underlying URL when I used the "Quote" option for the post that included the link. I then was able to see the underlying URL code and copied/pasted. Not a solution, but a workaround.
