Greetings—new member. I currently have a 2007 222 that is in storage in NC while I’m stationed in Alaska for a few years. Was my dads boat originally (he’s on his 3rd Cobalt). Prior to this one I had a 1999 190 that was my best friends family boat (grew up using that one too).

Hopefully the pictures work.

Sweet. Boy those 190's are a popular boat.
222 looks nice resting there.

Had the 190 down in Pensacola for 2 years and it is a great boat! Sips gas, lots of room for the size, it was 16 years old and I got compliments on it every where.

Will probably leave the 222 in deep storage until we return permanently from the great white North. My pop’s 2015 200 is available for use when visiting.

AsLan very jealous of your boat—love the 263’s but just can’t make the finicial leap to spend more money on and “older” boat.

What do you fly? (Pilot as well)

Welcome aboard from California. Nice Color scheme ! ( guessing sandstone/ebony) The 222 is a great Boat and that one is nicely equipped it looks like.

Like to see some more pics of her and like to hear of your boating lakes in NC you use as they are known for there full action activities.

Absolutely go into the "what do you do" thread. I have always wanted to go to Alaska, and what folks do to earn a living up there has always fascinated me.

A7, I'm just a simple redneck from Oklahoma. I fly a lot, and I hear a lot of pilots come over the intercom, but you guys have your own language so I can hardly ever understand what they are saying. So when you start in with your "pilot speak" it looks to me like "Currently I fly ##$+! @ @#? %- &@-® ®\[¢[π¶ ∆£} [©®£^^€. What do you fly? "

Ytmsn sometimes it’s not pilot talk but DOD talk...The acronyms are absurd!

Also if anyone has questions about safety gear/how to get rescued when things go badly that’s kinda my specialty.

Very cool T32! I have an incredible respect for the CG. My Grandfather served as an officer in the Coast Guard on the Hunter Liggett transporting Army troops in WWII. Plus my middle name, Covell, comes from a relative who was the 2nd ever Vice Commandant of the USCG ...RADM Leon C. Covell!
