I just got my new (to me) 2019 R5 Surf and absolutely love it. When I got home, I noticed that the sof-trac that snaps to the step over the engine cover is missing. Wondering if anyone knows if/where replacement could be had.

The attached picture shows the piece and the only difference is that mine is the tan with black border.

Our softrac is curling up so we filled a warranty claim with the dealer. Seems like in your case it should also be warranty unless you got it after?

Thats the piece that blows out most commonly so if it’s a snap in they won’t warranty it… not unless you actually have the piece and snaps are coming off or are loose, but that would be a hard case to plead given you don’t have the piece. I’ll bet if you call your dealer and give them your vin number they’d be able to order you a replacement. When we trailer our boat and we had the snap in carpet that would always come out even if we were just going a short distance.

Yes call your nearest Cobalt dealer and they can drop ship it to you from the factory in Neodesha.

I take it those are factory pics. Any pics of your R5?

Do you know how long the warranty is because ours is peeling up too??

Unfortunately I dont, I looked at our documents with the boat but didnt sse it. I would recommend reaching out to the dealer and otherwise cobalt directly as it is a known issue.

Thanks. It is snap in and, unfortunately, since I bought it used, guess I just have to bite the bullet and order from the dealer.
