Hey Andres - The post that AsLan7 references is for the R5. Understanding that the R3 does not have a head and in the absence of an R3 owner mapping location or posting an image, recommend tracing the RCA cables from one of the amplifiers and you're bound to bump into the head unit. I can't begin to understand why Cobalt locates the sound system head units in such arcane locations, but as you can see, it's definitely bizarre in the R5. Almost like unintentionally stumbling into a bar during the Prohibition.

My theory on the location is that the cable between remote and head unit is 16'. Maybe that is the best location inorder to reach both the transom (if equipped) and helm

We have the same boat but I've never looked. I've assumed it was right in front of the dash behind the lift up seat back.
Now you've peaked my interest.

I'm sure someone will know but didn't someone at 1 time say it was accessible through the ski locker?
