Anyone here cover the spare tire on their trailer with anything unique?

I have a 15" tire that I am considering covering from the sun.

Lol...that unicorn would certainly ruin a great set up, Ajc.

I think I'm more interested in an American flag such as this:

First, I’d suggest some wheel locks, A.
You know how easy it is for someone to poach parts in the parking lot.

IMO. Personally, I don’t use them. My tastes are clean, uncluttered, and less is more.
Find on a Jeep, not on a BMW.
They are more decorative statements than useful protection. More bumper stickers than UV protection, which your tires have in the rubber compound already.

If you have a definite need, I would suggest black with a Cobalt logo.

Great call on the wheel lock, T.

...yes, on the fence as well. Don't want to "pimp" out this trailer so to speak. I guess the curb feelers are out. 8-)

Are you wanting a design or just something to keep the sun off? If the latter, Amazon has some decent plain black ones for around $10. I bought this one, fits well and seems like it will last at least a little while.

We didn't mount our spare on the trailer... It stays in the storage shed so it's there if needed... We tow a whole 2 miles down the road...Less clutter on the trailer. But if you were to get a cover a good cobalt logo or your boat name would be cool.

I was going to put the cobalt decal on but it just didn't look right and sit flat enough. Plain is fine.

Funny you said that. I was trying to work with the logo and to make it look right using a couple of programs just now.

In any event, curious if left outside, do you think the cover would collect water inside of it?

They seal pretty tight but yes it will get wet. You have to remove them to dry it out. I've seen them get moldy. Mine sits inside so not much of a issue. I just like the cover fit when it sits at the launch.
