Hey there folks

Started disassembling things in the boat to make buffing and polishing easier. Upon doing so, I found the factory dual horn bracket rusted to hell and the horns just setting down behind the bow seat instead of mounted and facing out the opening. Anyone know if it’s possible to get a new bracket? I know cobalt only supports items for so long.

Anyone have photos of what the bracket looks like?

If you don't find one it seems fairly easy to fabricate one from parts you can find at Home Depot. Perhaps aluminum flat stock in the hardware section. 1" x 1/8" should work. You can easily bend it to the shape you want with a vise and a rubber hammer or a set of vise grip pliers. Drill a hole on both ends where it connects to the hull and horn and voila, you've got a horn mount.

I started thinking that same thing. Was initially thinking it was some type of “V” bracket but after going through searches of fiamm horns it appears to be 2 separate brackets and the screws for the grille go into each bracket
