This has come up a handful of times over the past few years here so it seemed reasonable to share that I've produced a couple of Twist Lock Ski Pylons. They'll be off to their new owners tomorrow and hopefully getting some feedback after that, but if anybody in the future is looking for a replacement, I have now added it to my catalog. For now, it's unlikely I'll keep them in stock or at least at very high stock levels, but will be happy to machine them to order.

Your CNC work looks top notch!! I’m looking for a longer ski pylon but one that threads on, The Cobalt R8 uses a threaded pylon but I’d like for it to be a few inches higher.
Interested? Or your thoughts?

Hi Snichoalds,
I would be really hesitant to sell a longer-than-oem ski pylon. The torque will increase linearly with the length of the pylon which will similarly increase the loads on the mounting attachments of the receiver. So I feel like increasing that length would put me in a bit of a pickle if someone then towed a tube with a longer pylon and ended up ripping the receiver out of the boat.....
