I am on the cusp of buying a 2003 282 with 496 MAG HO about 650 hrs
Dealer was asking 58900$ CDN and now down to 50K CDN + tax
Boat is in good condition and trailer if fairly new (2019)
If this a good deal or should I ask for less?

So glad you found us my friend.
Being that this Cobalt does not have the stainless arch, extra extended swim platform, and is not a twin engine, this is a fair price. You really want the twin engine setup in this size boat.
