Seadek Flooring replacement

I know a few of you have the seadek or similar product on your swim platforms... YT I'm huge fan of the 240 cobalt logo... The arches are super sweet too
Has anyone done their entire boat in seadek as a carpet replacement? Our carpet is showing some age and it also just drives me nuts that the floor storage and ski locker requires you to unsnap the carpet to access the compartments. Terrible design... I'm sure a man did it HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA
Post up your pics if you have any... Thanks fellas!

Oooh. Looking forward to pics. Nice question Katie.
Ytmsn’s 240 has the best looking platform decking that I have ever seen on a Cobalt.

I would love to change mine over to snap in SeaDek. Just haven't had the balls to Do it yet. I added it to my walk through but it's glued down. I love it there.
This is my buddies chap he did. It snaps in.

Check out Marine Mat. They do OEM snap in for cobalt. It’s the Sea Dek material and you can do a template and use the existing snaps. I got 99% of the way through but backed out because my parents walked all over the boat with shoes on and I realized the non skid was much easier to clean and I wasn’t going to tell st them for shoes since I’m not sure how much longer they’ll be able to come out with us. I have the owners email he was great throughout and very responsive.

I want to get rid of the snaps.... Currently have to unsnap the carpet to get in the floor compartments and it's annoying. Is this a thing on other models? I don't understand why the snaps aren't on the door panels so you avoid all of that!

Seadek looks awesome, but my dealer turned me away from ordering it on the swim step. He claims it takes acetone to remove dirt and stains. It still looks freaking great on YT’s boat. Hard not to love it.

I’ll quote myself to have Ytmsn’s reference 240 in this thread. Sea dek is nice but imho, the Aquamarine flooring “ blows it aweigh”. This is on my short list next Spring.

I know what your saying. But with new flooring you don't have to use there snaps. You can redo it around that storage door. I would. You can fill in the holes in the floor. It's not that hard.

I also added pull straps so you don't have to lift up the carpet. On my 220 the carpet stays attached to the storage lids nut to the floor.

I have sea grass and like it much better than carpet, but the Cobalt logo on that aquamarine decking is sharp!

Thanks y'all! Aquamarine did an awesome job. I'm hoping they can do the same thing on my 262. When McArch goes away
