For those who've ordered a new bought, any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The 220 is the one I've been most interested in, like the CS3 and R3 too but they're just more boat than I need. Hard to get friends to go with me these days, busy lives. Like the seating and sun pad better on the 220 vs CS3.

Sounds exciting. It would be nice to drive the new engines. It would be so cool to drive my boat with the new 430 in it compared to mine. I'm sure it's night and day difference. My dealer has I think 17 or 16 r3wss for under $60 but it has the 250 in it. What was somebody thinking? A v6? I've talked to three dealers and all have said the 350 is just not worth it in there opinion, 2-3 mph top end diff. So, I'm not sure til I call and finalize the order this week but think I'm going to stick with the 300. Had the opportunity to drive a couple more and that engine is simply amazing.
Exciting times!
250 in an R3!? That should be illegal.Big Block Power wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 9:52 amSounds exciting. It would be nice to drive the new engines. Exactly. It shouldn't even be a option. I would have thought about it as I'm sure they want to move it. I think the 300 will do great in your boat but it's not all about top end. If your going to keep it for ten years the extra money might be worth it. If your not paying cash what's a few extra bucks a month. It's so easy to say when it's not mine.lolFun2Fish wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 9:58 am250 in an R3!? That should be illegal.Big Block Power wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 9:52 amSounds exciting. Exciting times!seems as though the majority of dealers order the 300 in the R3's and that seems under powered to me, not sure I'd go less than 350 in that size of boat.
Ytmsn, I will definitely let all know and it it would be great to meet a fellow forum member. Lucky? I'm not sure about that but I will say I have been to a lot of games and that one had more highs and more lows than we generally experience and it was soooo long! Ending made the drive home a little better!Ytmsn wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 12:16 pm Sooner when your baby is delivered let us all know! If I'm in the area I'd like to swing by for a look and face to face introduction. By the way, you got lucky yesterday...![]()
Once they start the process, you are locked.Soonerfan wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 11:25 am I put a down payment and "ordered" my R7 at the end of July and I still don't have it. From what I was told the production date is what is important. Mine was scheduled for 10/2 (over 2 months from ordering) and I was told it would take 6 weeks to build and then delivery to the dealer which could take up to a couple more weeks. According to that schedule I should have it in 1 to 3 weeks or just in time to store it for the winter! You also have up until the production date to make any changes. This is just my experience so far. Also, initially I was told that if I ordered in when I did that I'd should be delivered just after Labor Day or 6-8 weeks. Of course that didn't happen and I don't know if that was on the dealer or just Cobalt being behind.

Shipping is another matter. It's going to depend on other orders in route to or from your location.
They couldn't put together a full load this way for three weeks, so my boat sat through most of June in Neodesha.
