2020 R5 will not start!

Hello. I just tried launching but the engine will not crank. I have checked all the obvious! Throttle is in neutral, safety switch is in place, tilt is down, batteries are good. When I try to start with the drive in full up, I get the beep and the message that it can't be started in full up! I lower the drive, I get nothing. No draw on the battery, no clicking, no anything! I did trailer up about 100 miles yesterday and there were some rough patches of road. I haven't had any problems before today. I can't seem to locate the starter to see if a wire is loose. I have the Penta 350. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Did you physically check and tighten the battery terminal wires? If you jostled the boat during trailering as you mentioned, this could cause something to loosen.

Yes. I did check. Both screens come on. Everything is normal except for turning the key to ignition!

Roger that.
We had something similar. Enough current to run accessories but not enough current to start boat because of loose connection. Physical tightening of battery terminal wire did the trick.

Update.....it's not the starter. Anyone ever had a similar issue?

Update.... problem solved. It was a fuse located on top of the engine underneath the plastic cover!
