factory transom light switch?

Post by TwoDuckDad »

I have factory transom lights but cannot figure out which switch powers the lights. None are marked "Transom lights" although several are labeled "Accessory" but none work. Nav lights, interior lights, docking lights all work but I cannot figure out how to turn on the transom lights. Anyone have these, and if so, how to you make em illuminate? Thanks in advance.

I wonder if they're on the same switch as the interior RGB lights.

We don’t have fancy things like RGB lights. :)

Lol...what Titaniumboy said. Only white interior lights on the 240.

After buying off the showroom floor, we didn't realize we had them. Cobalt puts in switches for things your boat may not have.
There's a knob on the bottom of the dash that I didn't even notice that controls the RGB. Is there one on your boat?

LED’s were only a gleam in Cobalts eye way back in 2007.

2008 272, have replaced every bulb not located in dash-lights with LEDs, except
for the 3 transom lights. They go on/off with the interior lights.

I'll have to try mine again and check all three to see if I have any working with the interior lights. When I checked, I only pulled the cover off enough to see the one on the starboard side. I'll check tomorrow and report back.

tried all the switches and none of the three transom lights illuminate. I'll have to look under the dash to see if there is a loose or disconnected wire.
