A fix for the built in cooler

I've seen lately a lot of comments about how unhappy people are about the built in cooler in the R5. I had the same complaint the first time I used it. The concept is great, it is a great use of space and holds a ton of ice and drinks but wouldn't keep things cold all day. The issue as I see it is the seat doesn't sit on top of the cooler completely due to the seams of the seat cover. The best I could come up with is adding a gasket to seal off the cooler. Pleasantly surprised at the outcome - it holds already cold drinks, 50+ cans and 16lbs of ice all day and is still cold the next morning. I know it is a little redneck but it works. Hope it helps someone else not have to drink warm beer :D

Yes - great size and location - bad design.

Hmmm. I always thought it was because they didnt have enough foam on the bottom side and engine heat baked it... I will try this on my CS as it has the same concept.
