]Hi All,

New to the Group.

Ive recently purchased a 2018 R5 WSS, Mercusier 8.2 MAG HO, pretty much fully loaded as it was speced by the cobalt dealer.

it came with the Mariner Pro sport 20 Charger, which as far as im aware was an option on most cobalts of this era.

had it on charge afew weeks back, when i returned to the boat i noticed it would not power on at all, no lights nothing. Boat is fine and will still power on, no breakers or fuses tripped so i assume its the charger which has gone south.

does anyone know if there is an inline fuse or internal relay which may have tripped, any troubble shooting idead before i fork out for a new one?

Thanks heaps

So glad you found us VPR5.....

Any pics of your WSS?

Can't help with the charger but others will chime in shortly.

And welcome aboard mate.

Unless there's a GFCI or something on your circuit that tripped, it's probably the charger. Try plugging a light or radio into the same outlet to see if it works? There's a pretty sparse manual for the charger at:

Thanks For the Add,

See pics attached.

Only had her out once but hope to change that as we come into the warmer months soon.

Coming from a four Winns, just can’t Belive the quality and ride difference the cobalt offers. Safe to say very happy with the decision.

Very cool
I always liked that model look.
It’s an interesting boat with a short production run so kind of unique too.
