It doesn’t appear to retract, but I may be missing something. If not, I don’t see how it would work. I think it would stick out too far once you’ve pulled it up. Not sure it would latch properly either, but I’m sure you could find a way to secure it if that were the only hold up.

I believe this is what you’re looking for. Found on eBay. The seller is Great Lakes Skipper. They have a have a website you can search as well.
