Front speaker cover

My front speaker cover on my 2001 262 seem to have been covered in a felt like material and it is in bad shape. Has anyone removed them and recovered them or removed them, cleaned off the material and painted them??

Speaker grill cloth works well. You can pick some up at Joann Fabrics.
The Cobalt emblem is just a pin that will pull off.

That type of speaker won't work in the bow of the 260 series. Easier to re-fabric the front ones.

That type of speaker won't work in the bow of the 260 series. Easier to re-fabric the front ones.
Ok how about a pair of these

I'm going to get him to spend more than $5 lol

Haha... you will have to do much better than that to spool me. No time for cheap speakers, busy pricing all new upholstery. Ugghhhhh...not a bad way to spend 5 or 6 k

Have you tried cleaning her up at all or is the interior ripped?

If the interior isn't sun bleached or ripped I'd try cleaning it.

Matt does. He did his with speaker grill fabric. I was told by someone there is a ss version out there somewhere but I doubt it. Let me see if I can find Matt's pic
